Pan-African Solutions Consulting is a strategic planning consulting firm that assists Black Diaspora-focused nonprofit organizations, philanthropic donors, and public sector agencies with sustainable cooperative economic development in Africa, the Caribbean, and urban communities in the United States. Established in 2013, the firm gained Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) certification with New York City in 2020 and with New York State in 2023.

Chevelle Dixon
Founder and Managing Director,

Chevelle Dixon has over twenty-years of professional experience in both the private and public sectors, focusing on philanthropic initiatives that impact socio-economic development in urban neighborhoods globally. Chevelle is passionate about economic development particularly in Africa, and firmly believes in the power of Black Diaspora collaboration to uplift marginalized communities.
Chevelle is a Black American woman hailing from Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from NYU Wagner with a Master of Urban Planning and International Development, from Harvard University with a joint A.B. in Economics and African Studies, and from the Nightingale-Bamford School. She is an avid traveler, having been to over 50 countries (specifically 16 within Africa) on five continents. She is a proud dog mom and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

MISSION
To create collaborative opportunities that strengthen connections between Africa and its Black Diaspora through cooperative economic development and capacity building.
VISION
To be an authentic and ethical connector of a diverse group of global Black Diaspora stakeholders for the purpose of promoting capacity building, resource management, and collaborative sustainable economic development across geographical lines.
APPROACH
Pan-Africanism is a global movement which aims to strengthen bonds, solidarity, and collaboration amongst all people of the Black Diaspora, inside and outside of Africa. Pan-Africanism opposes neo-colonialism economic exploitation of the Black Diaspora and encourages cooperative economic development through “collective self-reliance.”
Pan-African Solutions Consulting assists local nonprofits with strategic planning and capacity building, provides public sector agencies technical assistance, and partners with philanthropic communities to identify socio-economic gaps and increase access to resources for the global Black Diaspora.
